According to some users on Microsoft Answers the problem can be solved by simply scanning for hardware changes on your system.
Method 1: Scan for hardware changes
1. Open Start and typeDevice Manager then select Device Manager Transformice hack no human verification for robux.
The next step was the keep itself. Keep on the borderlands pdf. If you click on the environs map you'll see a spot towards the bottom in the middle of the Welkwood labelled Baridel Castle, the name for the Keep I adopted in my version of Greyhawk. As you can see I just adjusted it slightly to conform to my view of the Keep. The over at caught my eye, so that was the next to get incorporated into my milieu. After all, they're brave not stupid.Since this is situated in Greyhawk the next question was where was I going to place it, besides the suggested.Since I'm planning on tying this in with later I decided to place it not too far away on the Wild Coast along the Jewel River.
2. Once in Device Manager click the Scan for hardware changes button

3. Try to play audio again, if the problem still persists continue to method 2
Method 2: Reinstalling Drivers
Another way this problem seems to be solvable is by updating your audio drivers on the system, you can simply download these from your computer manufacturer website. If you’re not sure which you need then leave a comment and we’ll help you (please always post your brand and model id)

FIX: The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect

I have searched and read everywhere I can to find a solution, but I still can't figure this out. It looks like lots of other people are having this problem as well.
I have a TV plugged in to HDMI (AMD Radeon R7 200 series) that I use for both video and sound. Everything worked great on Win7. After upgrading to Win10, sound will eventually stop working after some time (anywhere from 1 hour to a day later). After it eventually stops working, if I go to the device in the sound menu and right click>test, I get a popup window that says 'The device is being used by another application. Please close any devices that are playing audio to this device and then try again.'
Things I have tried:
What I found that works as a temporary fix, is to uninstall the device from Device Manager, 'scan for hardware changes', and let it reinstall the driver. This will get it working again, until it eventually stops working a few hours later. Restarting Windows works too, but it's not practical to have to restart windows every couple hours.
I'm completely out of ideas. What is causing this? Anyone know how to fix this?
